YOUR MAGAZINE

1) Cover
       ♦   Use a copy of the template for your cover.
       ♦   Hand draw your "Man of the Era" on the template.
       ♦   Write the name of your person under the picture
       ♦   Neatly print your name and class period on the back of the cover page

2) "Article" on your selection for "Man of the Era"
       ♦   This part of your magazine should be at least two pages long.
       ♦   Your work should be typed (black text, size 12, Helvetica font with standard margins)
       ♦   Small illustrations of this persons achievents may be included.

3) Biographies of your four "runner up" candidates
       ♦   Follow directions in step #2
       ♦   Each biography should be a half to one page in length.

4)  Back cover
Design an advertisement for a product that might have been sold during the Renaissance. Hand drawings or computer graphics may be used. The information in your ad should be historically accurate, though you can be creative in the design. Put the ad on the back cover of your magazine. This ad should be facing the opposite direction as the other pages.

5)  Assembling your magazine
       ♦   Neatly align all of the pages before stapling them together.
       ♦   Staple on the left edge using three evenly spaced staples.
       ♦   Your magazine should open like a book.
