TEACHER NOTESThis activity is designed for seventh grade social studies students who are studying the Renassiance world.In an effort to provide a wide group of people for students to research, some liberty was taken in defining the Renaissance years. This activity includes information covered in California State History/Social Science Standards 7.2, 7.8, 7.9, 7.10, and 7.11. In this project, there is an emphasis on European males due to the lack of emphasis on women and non-European males in the standards. This webquest may be adapted and completed as a group activity. Students may be given the option of doing their presentations using powerpoint or other media technology. This WebQuest is presented by Gray & Willie Pattillo as a project for the iMET program at California State University, Sacramento. Willie Pattillo is a 7th Grade world history teacher at Vernon E.
